1. Base (of an exponent) – In an expression of the form a^n , the base a is used as a factor n times: a^n = a x a x a… (n times)
2. Common factor – A number that is a factor of two or more whole numbers.
3. Common multiple – A number that is a multiple of two or more whole numbers.
4. Composite number – A counting number that has more than two factors.
5. Cube (of a number) – The value of the number raised to an exponent of 3.
6. Cube root – A number which, when cubed, is equal to a given number.
