Dear Friends and Fellow Teachers,
I have created a Wish List of what I need for my classroom at www.NationalTeacherRegistry.com. The National Teacher Registry is a new, free service for teachers and schools that enables teachers to create a registry, or Wish List, of items they need and want for their classroom.
In a time of severe education budget cuts when we are spending hundreds of dollars of our own money on classroom supplies, you might consider creating your own classroom Wish List – who needs another coffee mug with an apple on it! Especially at this time of year, let your families know what you need and want.
· The service is free for both registrants and purchasers.
· There are over 150,000 items available and more are being added.
o Art supplies, books, classroom organizational materials, educational games, lab and science supplies, maps, musical instruments and products, office supplies, school supplies, sporting goods, and teaching tools and more are currently available.
· Products are sourced from national suppliers and discounters such as Borders Books, Teaching Supply Store, Carolina Biological Supply Company, Blick Art Materials, West Music Company, and Wolverine Sports.
· There is no price markup.
· The service is very convenient - it is available 24/7.
· The system is real time so it’s always current.
· I can update it at any time.
· Purchases may be tax deductible.
When items are purchased from a Wish List, you will receive an email notification of the purchase and the items are delivered directly to the classroom.
In short, the National Teacher Registry is designed to help teachers communicate the supplies that they need for their classrooms and students gain access to products that will help enhance their education.
I thought you might want to learn more about the National Teacher Registry and consider creating your own Wish List. To learn more, visit NationalTeacherRegistry.com.
Thanks,
Mrs. Simpkins
